There are many types of garden tools, some of which we are familiar with and some of which we are not familiar with. They play a significant role in greening, especially with the rapid development of modern urbanization, garden greening has become a landmark impression of a city. The tools for garden construction cannot be separated from these garden tools, and we need to have some understanding of their use and maintenance.
Garden tools often bear heavy workloads during use, so if their lifespan can be extended to make them more convenient to use and to maximize their functionality, it is necessary to understand relevant maintenance knowledge. For example, in winter, garden tools such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, or chainsaws are used less frequently. To do so, it is necessary to drain the oil from the fuel tank, add the appropriate amount of new oil according to the instructions, remove the spark plug, add the oil, and then install the spark plug. Clean the dust and oil stains on the cutting disc, machine body, and other parts, and place them in the appropriate location. In the spring and summer seasons, the use of these tools increases accordingly. First, check whether the screws or components of these machines are securely installed, whether they are loose, and whether the engine oil is sufficient for filling up. Do not exceed the speed limit during use. The oil used should be of reliable quality, clean, and fresh. Non professionals are not allowed to adjust the machine without authorization. When refueling, repairing, or maintaining, the spark plug cap should be removed. Do not smoke and stay away from sources of fire. If the machine emits blue smoke during use, it is likely due to engine oil combustion, excessive oil consumption that needs to be drained before use, or blockage of the air filter and lack of sharp blades. In addition, when the grass is too dense, it can also cause smoking. In this case, the size of the trimming should be increased to reduce the burden on the engine, which can also solve such problems.
The lawn mower may sometimes experience weakness when mowing the lawn. First, clean it. If it cannot be cleaned, replace or polish the blade to make it sharp. If the center screw of the blade is not tightened, first check for damage, and then tighten the screw before use. Sometimes the lawn mower has poor grass collection effect due to the following reasons: firstly, it needs to be cleaned. When the dirt blocks and is not breathable, it can also cause the grass collection to be less dense. Secondly, the blade wear is excessive, and the blade wings cannot collect grass. Additionally, the engine wear is excessive, resulting in significant power loss. The lawn mower may also experience shaking during use, which may be caused by touching hard objects such as stones or tree roots, resulting in curled blades or severe crankshaft bending, causing the machine to shake. When using the hedge trimmer, qualified gasoline and engine oil should be used. After using one box of engine oil, rest for about ten minutes to ensure heat dissipation. Regularly check the air filter and spark plug when using the brush cutter to ensure normal operation of the machine.
